We are excited to announce that DaNaRestore, the Danish Nature Restoration Network, is hosting our General Assembly on 26 March 2026!
In 2024, a coalition of ecological restoration experts came together to lay the groundwork for a Danish Nature Restoration Network (DaNaRestore). This initiative is an inclusive platform representing public, private, and non-governmental stakeholders. The network seeks to work in close col laboration with the Society for Ecological Restoration (SER), as well as the Danish and European nature and environmen tal authorities. The vision of this network is to foster dialogue and cooperation across sectors. Anchored in a shared commitment to advancing ecological restoration in Denmark’s terrestrial, freshwater and marine environments, the network aspires to facilitate the effective implementation of the EU Nature Restoration Regulation within Denmark. Through collaboration, knowledge ex change and cross-sector engagement, we strive to create a strong community which optimises ecological recovery and contributes to the long-term health and contributes to the long-term health and resilience of Denmark’s ecosystems, benefiting both nature and society for generations to come.
